Update Nov. 2 The checking bonus is now $300. When we checked Chase’s offer page on Nov. 2, 2026, the Total Checking bonus showed $300 (it was $400 earlier), and the checking-plus-savings combo still showed $900 through Jan. 27, 2027. We’ve updated the details below. Our Chase checking bonus review has the full fine print.
Chase’s $300 Total Checking bonus is live: open a new account with the offer code, then get a qualifying direct deposit within 90 days. If you have spare cash sitting around, the checking-plus-savings version pays $900. For that one you open both accounts at once, get a paycheck direct deposit into checking within 90 days, and move $15,000 in new money into savings within 30 days and leave it there for 90 days. Both offers run through Jan. 27, 2027, they’re only for people who don’t already have a Chase checking (or savings) account, and you can get one bonus every two years. You can skip the $15 monthly checking fee with $500 or more in electronic deposits. Chase Savings pays just 0.01% APY, though, so compare the extra $600 against what that $15,000 would earn at a high-yield bank.
