IHG Is Taking 15% Off Points Stays at Its Newest Hotels, From Mexico City to Taipei

If you’re sitting on IHG One Rewards points, check IHG’s new hotel deals page before you book. IHG takes 15% off the points price of Reward Nights at newly opened and recently renovated hotels, and the November list is up. It includes the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City Miyana, a new InterContinental in Taipei, an all-inclusive Kimpton near Playa del Carmen and the Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square, plus plenty of Holiday Inn Express and Candlewood-type openings. The terms are simple but strict. The discount only applies to points-only Reward Nights, not Points & Cash, and you have to book on an official IHG site or app while signed in. Each hotel has its own book-and-stay window, so check the dates shown for that property before you commit. If you have an IHG credit card from Chase, you can’t combine the 15% off with the fourth-night-free benefit on stays of four or more nights, but it does work on stays of three nights or fewer. For a four-night stay, compare both ways and use whichever costs fewer points. To use it, sign in, filter the page by region, and open the hotel’s booking page. The 15% discount should already show in the points price there.
