Flat 2% cards usually skip the sign-up bonus, so this one is worth a look. Synchrony’s Mastercard page has a limited-time offer of $100 cash back as a statement credit when you open a Synchrony Premier World Mastercard between Oct. 13 and Dec. 31, 2026 and spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 60 days. The card earns 2% cash back on every purchase, credited to your statement automatically. It has no annual fee. The fine print says returns and adjustments come off your $1,000. The $100 posts within 1 to 2 billing cycles after the 60 days end, and your account has to be open and current when it posts. You can only earn it once per account, and the credit can’t count toward your minimum payment. There are catches. A 3% foreign transaction fee makes it a poor travel card. It’s also not a points card, so 2% is the ceiling. Purchase APRs for new accounts are 20.74%, 27.74% or 33.49% variable, so pay in full. To get it, use the “See if you prequalify” link on the page first, then apply only if you can hit the spend with normal bills within the 60 days.
