Citi has two American Airlines cards at or near their best-ever offers right now. The Citi / AAdvantage Executive card pays 125,000 bonus miles after you spend $15,000 in the first five months. It costs $695 a year, but that includes a full Admirals Club membership. If that spend is too steep, the Platinum Select card pays 80,000 miles after $3,500 in four months. Its $99 annual fee is waived the first year, and you get a free first checked bag on domestic American flights. Both offers are labeled limited-time with no end date posted, so don’t wait too long. Citi won’t pay a card’s bonus if you’ve earned the bonus on that same card in the past 48 months.
